skills. CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional) has now been
changed as CCNP Voice to provide a clear career path between
unified communications IT and Cisco voice professionals aligning
to the track of Cisco Voice certification. It mainly involves
implementing, operating, configuring, and troubleshooting a
converged IP network. CCNP Voice mainly focuses on Cisco Unified
Communications Manager (formerly Unified CallManager), quality
of service (QoS), IP phones, gateways, voice applications,
gatekeepers, and utilities on Cisco routers and Cisco Catalyst
switches. CCNP Voice now covers integration and troubleshooting
of Cisco Unified Communications, especially Cisco Unity
Connection and Cisco Unified Presence applications.
